Our Staff

Our organization currently has four administrative positions, which will eventually be supported by non-administrative staff as we grow. We depend heavily on volunteers to carry out many of the day-to-day operations. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, please visit our volunteer link for more information.

Executive Director - Scott DeLoach

Scott DeLoach

Scott DeLoach is one of the three founders of Deaf Prison Ministries Network. Scott has been involved with ministering to the Deaf in prison since 1998. Additionally, Scott has been involved with the administration of non-profit organizations since 1992. Both of those experiences prompted the Deaf Prison Ministries Network board of directors to hire Scott as the Executive Director in 2007. Currently, Scott spends most of his time developing and promoting Healing Hands Ranch. In addition to his responsibilities at Deaf Prison Ministries Network, Scott often gives presentations to churches and organizations, educating them about the needs of Deaf people affected by crime and how we can meet those needs.

If you are interested in inviting Scott to speak at your church or organization, please contact us.

Development Director - David Luxner

David Luxner David Luxner came to Deaf Prison Ministries Network with over 25 years of experience in working with mental health and prison facilities. Although this is David's first time to work with the Deaf, he has been very sympathetic about the plight of Deaf people affected by crime. David's responsibilities include developing the programs at Healing Hands Ranch, conducting research and networking with the community to increase awareness of our organization. David also helps us with grant research and applying for grants. On top of all this, David is also taking ASL classes at a local community college and is slowly learning sign language in order to be able to communicate with our residents
